Departing from Saumlaki, in the southern Maluku islands, the Damai II liveaboard will make the first stop at the southern tip of Tanimbar for a check out dive. From here we will visit some of the eastern Forgotten Islands enjoying the walls and drop-offs with the hope of passing pelagics. We will travel north to the volcanic island of Manuk, nicknamed the “Island of the Snakes” where we can dive with both sea snakes and sea kraits amongst the schooling fish. Then we will sail up to the “Spice Islands” and hopefully take a walk around the historic Banda Neira as well as dive some iconic sites like Batu Kapal and Lava Flow with its hard coral garden. Our last stop in the Banda Sea will be at the island of Koon and “Too Many Fish!” We will then visit the colourful softcoral-covered reefs around the island of Misool and the wonders of Raja Ampat where we can enjoy the pinnacles at Wayilbatan and Fiabacet or a nice drift along the channel at Neptune Fan Sea. We will sail north to Penemu for some world class hard coral reefs and the photo opportunity of the lagoon from the top of the viewpoint. Our last days diving will in the world famous Dampier Straits where we can dive iconic sites like Cape Kri, Blue Magic and Mioskon enjoying the schooling fish, cruising sharks and maybe rays and pygmy seahorses. Our liveaboard cruise ends in Sorong, where guests can enjoy our complimentary airport transfer.
