Departing from Nabire, Papua, the Damai I liveaboard will make the first stop at the fishing platforms in the Cenderawasih Bay National Park, where the resident whalesharks come to feed; you can swim, snorkel, dive, feed and enjoy your photo opportunities with these magnificant creatures. We will head north, island hopping through the atolls to Pulau Manim. Here begins the WWII theme with a series of landing craft along the side of the island and some excellent critter diving. We will sail over the north coast of Papua to the artificial reef at the Junkyard where the WWII theme continues; colourful reef fish, octopus, cool nudibranchs and a colourful coral covered backdrop. The final days will be spent in the north of Raja Ampat around the world famous Dampier Straits, diving iconic sites like Cape Kri, Blue Magic and Mioskon and enjoying the schooling fish, cruising sharks and maybe rays and pygmy seahorses. Our liveaboard cruise will end in Sorong where guests can enjoy our complimentary airport transfer.
