Departing from Ambon by, the Damai I liveaboard will make the first stop at the eastern end of the Dampier Straits for a check-out dive. We will spend the following day here diving iconic sites like Cape Kri, Blue Magic and Mioskon enjoying the schooling fish, cruising sharks and maybe rays and pygmy seahorses. We will head west to Gam where there are beautiful orange softcorals at Citrus Ridge and fish action at Mayhem before exploring the wonders found under Arborek Jetty. We will head west to Penemu for some world class coral reefs and the photo opportunity of the lagoon from the top of the viewpoint. Moving south to the colourful softcoral-covered reefs around the island of Misool, we can enjoy the pinnacles at Wayilbatan and Fiabacet or a nice drift along the channel at Neptune Fan Sea. We leave the wonders of Raja Ampat and head south to the island of Koon and “Too Many Fish” before we will sail up to the “Spice Islands” and hopefully take a walk around the historic Banda Neira as well as dive some iconic sites like Batu Kapal and Lava Flow with its hard coral garden. We will travel south to the volcanic island of Manuk, nicknamed the “Island of the Snakes” where we can dive with both sea snakes and sea kraits amongst the schooling fish. We will spend the last few day of our Banda Sea liveaboard cruise visiting some of the eastern Forgotten Islands, enjoying the walls and drop-offs with the hope of passing pelagics, before travelling to Saumlaki where guests can enjoy our complimentary airport transfer.
