Starting the trip to Gorontalo, famous for their unique Petrosia lignose, AKA Salvadore Dali sponges while passing through the Togeans island for a chance to visit the Red Jellyfish Lake. Continue the journey sailing through the rarely visit islands and reefs of Halmahera, in the North Maluku which is famous for its second to number schooling of Barracuda and Jacks. Below will be the draft itinerary when you are onboard of Damai:

Day 1: Arrive into Gorontalo

The flight usually arrives in Gorontalo in the morning and you will go directly to Damai and make yourselves comfortable. Once you're settled, you can complete a check out dive today depending on how you fee.

Day 2: Gorontalo

Very heathy hard coral gardens in the shallows and dramatic drops offs where the unique a famous Salvador Dali sponge grows. The only place where these sponges are to be found. Whale shark encounters are common, specially bellow fisherman platforms and the local fisherman keep the sharks around feeding them small bait fish.

Day 3: Molibagu

A combination of steep slopes and drop offs, hard and soft corals, among the regular visitors we find schooling barracudas, black tip sharks and some pelagic.

For the more trained eyes, nudibranchs or pygmies would be your challenge

Day 4: Tanjung Flesko

Currents flow in the channel between Bacan and Halmahera, the wares are the richest in the area and fans and soft corals dominate the reefs. Great combination of soft and hard corals and some of the fishiest dive in the whole Maluku. Good chances to see white and black tip reef sharks.

Day 5: Batu Pandita

A series of underwater pinnacles and reefs. Very good soft corals Thousands of anthias in the shallows, we
will also be looking for frog fish, leaf fish, ghostpipes, a chance of vivo and a more critter dedicated time.

Day 6 and 7: Bangka

Slopes, mini walls. pinnacles and corals in very good condition. We could say it is a sum up of Indonesia: Great
colours, vibrant fish life and perfect macro. There are possibilities for all kind of dives that would impressed all divers.

The south tip of the island has two large coral formation, coming put from the island where life accumulates,

Damai are flexible to change itinerary suggested based on customer’s preference in the event that weather and time allow us to do so and if changes is agreeable by all participants on board.

Due to the need to report to the local village, divers will need to be flexible with the start time of the first dive at some of the dive sites. We will ensure that you’re given timely update on this during the trip, however your understanding on last minute changes would be appreciate. This is because divers are only allowed in the water once permission is granted by the local villages and officers.

Cabin 1

At 22 sq meters / 237 sq feet, this room can be configured with a double bed (180cm x 200cm / 5.9 feet x 6.56 feet) or two single beds (90cm x 200cm / 2.95 feet x 6.56 feet). It has a desk and a wardrobe, three reading lights and a bed side table. The room is fully air-conditioned and has en-suite facilities, where the shower has a dividing glass door.
